These BCBGeneration Jodie pumps in Barley are my go to shoes for the office and beyond. They're very comfortable and give me that height that seems to have gone to my brother. And since they're in a neutral color they definitely help elongate my legs when I'm wearing skirts or a dress. I can wearing them with everything slacks, jeans and of course skirts and dresses. I haven't tried them with shorts yet since I bought them during the holidays, but there's definitely some dressier shorts I may pair them with. Hello Lover

No truer words have been spoken when the subject is shoes and today was my moment. Dillard's was have a 40% off sale on everything that was already on sale and that's where I spotted these babies, but I had to sweat it out for a day because they always give their card holders an early start on their sales. And so I waited and refreshed...did I mention I was up at midnight? Finally the sale was open for all to enjoy! I don't normally purchase things from the Dillard's website because the shipping starts at $8.50 and they never have any type of free shipping days unless you have their card. Hello, some people don't like credit cards! So anyways back to my lovelies...we have a Dillard's in my city, but for some reason the BCBGeneration section is minuscule! I've given up trying to find anything BCBGeneration in there, let alone on sale. The last pair of BCBGeneration I bought from a Dillard's was in Memphis! So when I spotted these and did the calculation the sale price + the shipping would still be worth my ordering and so I did. And so without further ado I give you my newest pair of BCBGeneration shoes....the Jodeci Platform Pump in Raspberry! #LoveIt

They're sold out at Dillard's, but you can get them here and here. I've shopped at both places and haven't had any problems plus there's free shipping (two of my favorite words btw). IMO the BCBGeneration shoe line runs a half size small since I usually wear a 6, but order a 6.5 in these. My entire collection, yes I have enough BCBGeneration shoes to call it a collection, are all 6.5, but these I believe will be my favorites...for the time being. So there you have it, the newest additions to my growing collection.

BCBGeneration Gilda Thong Sandals

I’d had my eye on these flip flops for a while, but we don’t have a Macy’s in our town and when it comes to shoes sometimes you just have to try them on. Well while we were on vacay I found a pair at Macy’s and they were on sale to boot! It was a toss up between the black and pink pair and I went with the pink ones because they matched my new bathing suit better. ;) Also they do run a bit small and I had to go with the size 7’s. No biggie. Where I had the problem was after wearing them for a day the design on the flip flop started to peel! I was really glad I didn’t pay full price for them, I would’ve taken them back but after that we spent the rest of our time at the beach and didn’t go back to the mall, of course that could’ve been my hubby’s evil plan…Well you live and learn. They are comfortable and I have worn them around town and gotten compliments on them and I did get them on sale so it wasn’t a major loss, but I think I’ll stick to my Havaianas

An @BCBGMAXAZRIA Kind of Day

I wore this ensemble back in April when the sun wouldn’t melt you as soon as you stepped outside! I found my blazer on a trip to Grapevine Mills Mall. I had been looking for a blazer for a while, but wasn’t having any luck around town unless I wanted to spend $200 on one! Imagine my surprise when I found a BCBG MaxAzria Final Cut store at Grapevine Mills Mall. I was in heaven! Although my hubby was not. lol I found this blazer, that was originally $268, for $64, hello! #Winning. My necklace is one of those layered necklaces and it’s one of my favorites. I found it at this indoor marketplace. I love the gunmetal color, gunmetal seems to be my new favorite color besides shades of purple and blue.
