Well today was even hotter than the other day (112 to be exact) and I tried to take some indoor pics, but they didn't turn out like I would've liked them to. I love using Polyvore though, it's a fun way of showing you all what I wore when I can't get a good pic of myself, so without further ado, here's what I wore today.

Friday is casual day at the office so I got to wear my new capri jeans. I found these at Old Navy and I love them! Not only because they actually hit where they should - most capris just make me look like I'm waiting for a flood, but they're also very comfortable. The top is also from Old Navy and is a great purple color with a floral print and to top it off, it was on sale too hello clearance section! Love it!! The strappy sandals are from Zara (sorry girls they're sold out) and are very comfortable. I had them on all day at the office plus I wore them out to dinner and a trip to Game Stop. Somebody had giftcards he wanted to use. ;-) And of course my Zara bag (also sold out - well online anyway) and Armani sunglasses make another appearance.

What do you wear for casual friday?

When it's 110 degrees outside...

Here's what I wear when it's so hot outside the weather guy describes it as "deadly"! It was so hot I couldn't take five minutes outside for some pics of myself in my dress! This LC Lauren Conrad Floral Maxi dress is a tiered chiffon and very light. I received many compliments at the office today wearing this, of course my hubby had to ask if I had an important meeting at the office or something. Men! My platform sandals are also by Lauren Conrad for Kohl's and they're one of my fave pair of heels to wear. They're so comfortable and I can wear them all day including trips to the mall or grocery shopping. The bag I've been carrying this month is from Zara and gives me that pop of color every outfit needs. I love it! What do you wear to keep cool?

The Webster at Target - My Finds

I had seen the commercials for The Shops at Target, but to be honest I was excited to see what Polka Dog Bakery had to offer and didn't really see any of the commercials featuring The Webster shop. Well that changed once I spotted the clothing from The Webster at Target! After we had taken our moms to dinner for Mother's Day we decided to walk around Target and since it was Mother's Day my hubby was feeling generous so I tried on the jacquard eyelet skirt in navy and I loved it! My hubby not so much at first, but once he saw it up close he liked it, although either way I was going to buy it. ;-) Next thing I tried on was the the ruffle skirt with the flamingo print, I think this is my favorite piece of the line. It just makes you feel like your in Miami or South Beach, I love it! I wanted to try the deco print dress, but they were out in my size and this line seems to run true to size. I also picked up some great accessories for when we head to the beach ourselves. The wide brim navy stripe hat is great and the plus is that you can shape the brim however you want. And last but certainly not least is the cream wallpaper beach bag. It has a cute gold flamingo dangling from one of the handles and a removable green coin purse. So cute! Have you bought any pieces from The Webster at Target or do you plan to?

I bought this purse right before the holidays and I love it. I don't normally like purses with separate compartments because what usually happens is everything ends up in one compartment and the others remain empty except for maybe your keys and a pen. You know what I'm talking about ladies, but this bag is different because each compartment has it's own zipper so it's easier to keep things in their place and there's also a front zippered compartment to keep your phone and key(s) handy. The lining is quintessential Kate Spade with cute phrases all over it and depending on the color of your bag the fabric color will match with your bag, for instance my bag lining is a great green color, but if you were to pick up the celedon color here the fabric would be a khaki type color. This bag also has "feet" on the bottom which is a nice touch and something I do look for if I'm spending lots of money on a bag. If your using a big purse right now and want to downsize for spring I'd definitely pick this one up.

My Favorite Shoes by @bcbgmaxazria

These BCBGeneration Jodie pumps in Barley are my go to shoes for the office and beyond. They're very comfortable and give me that height that seems to have gone to my brother. And since they're in a neutral color they definitely help elongate my legs when I'm wearing skirts or a dress. I can wearing them with everything slacks, jeans and of course skirts and dresses. I haven't tried them with shorts yet since I bought them during the holidays, but there's definitely some dressier shorts I may pair them with. If you'd like a pair of your own you can find them on sale here.

Hello Lover

No truer words have been spoken when the subject is shoes and today was my moment. Dillard's was have a 40% off sale on everything that was already on sale and that's where I spotted these babies, but I had to sweat it out for a day because they always give their card holders an early start on their sales. And so I waited and refreshed...did I mention I was up at midnight? Finally the sale was open for all to enjoy! I don't normally purchase things from the Dillard's website because the shipping starts at $8.50 and they never have any type of free shipping days unless you have their card. Hello, some people don't like credit cards! So anyways back to my lovelies...we have a Dillard's in my city, but for some reason the BCBGeneration section is minuscule! I've given up trying to find anything BCBGeneration in there, let alone on sale. The last pair of BCBGeneration I bought from a Dillard's was in Memphis! So when I spotted these and did the calculation the sale price + the shipping would still be worth my ordering and so I did. And so without further ado I give you my newest pair of BCBGeneration shoes....the Jodeci Platform Pump in Raspberry! #LoveIt

They're sold out at Dillard's, but you can get them here and here. I've shopped at both places and haven't had any problems plus there's free shipping (two of my favorite words btw). IMO the BCBGeneration shoe line runs a half size small since I usually wear a 6, but order a 6.5 in these. My entire collection, yes I have enough BCBGeneration shoes to call it a collection, are all 6.5, but these I believe will be my favorites...for the time being. So there you have it, the newest additions to my growing collection.

The Jason Wu Collection for Target

Sunday was a great day, not only did the Giants win the Super Bowl, but the Jason Wu Collection from Target finally came out! I had already purchased the three pieces I really wanted online in the early AM of February 5th, since I wasn't sure how much would be left when I finally made it to Target Sunday morning afternoon. I've heard some complaints in the Twittersphere of difficulty ordering online, but I didn't have any and I heard of worse experiences at Target stores. When we (my hubby and son came with me) arrived at Target I was a bit surprised at what I saw, considering that with Missoni there was nothing left and the Target employees at our store described that Missoni morning as if it were Black Friday!

I ordered the red and navy striped jersey dress and the pleated skirt in the navy floral (above) online, those were two items I didn't want to take any chances on being sold out when I was finally able to make it into Target, it was Super Bowl Sunday after all and I wasn't sure I'd make it to Target until Monday. The dress fit great, I ordered a medium and it was just right not super tight at all, which is how I would describe the Missoni collection; in my opinion their collection was aimed at the teenage girl.

I really liked the bow tie blush tee...on the hanger, but not necessarily on me. I'm also not one with the bow making, my bows always coming out looking like I tried to tie a bow in the dark with me eyes closed. It did feel like it ran a bit big in my opinion.

I loved the look and feel of the heather gray tee with the lace down the middle it looked great with the black pleated skirt. I didn't buy this shirt even though I really wanted to because....

I found this dress instead! It's the dot print shirt dress, which to tell you the truth I didn't notice online and almost didn't pick up at Target, but since it was right next to Milu I gave it a try. I loved everything about it, the cut was great, the fabric felt soft and the bottom fell right at my knees but flares out a bit. It totally reminded me of a dress Lucille Ball would wear in I Love Lucy. You will need a slip underneath IMO, but that could just be me. Here's what the red and navy striped jersey dress looked like on.

This is the Milu tee with the black pleated skirt. I loved both pieces, but since I had my bodyguards with me I couldn't get them, alas when I went back Milu was gone. Sad day. But I refuse to go to ebay! I'll find it somewhere just not there.

When I went back in search of Milu, I also found that the heather gray tee in medium was gone as well, but since it was running a bit big and there were still size smalls left I decided to try one on and this is what I found (see below). The fabric in the shoulder area did a weird gathering/puckering thing. The tee fit fine except for that part so I didn't buy it and I was running short on time so I didn't go back to try another one to see if the same thing would happen.

So there you have it, my Jason Wu for Target experience...for the moment anyway, since Target has said there's more pieces to come.
